Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Rocket CPA website and services, provided by 10X CPA Inc. By using the site, booking a session, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Rocket CPA provides 30-minute consultation sessions with licensed Certified Public Accountants, either one-time (Single Launch) or on a monthly recurring basis (Rocket 180° and Rocket 360° plans). Subscriptions include the number of sessions described on the pricing page for the billing period. Consultations provide tax and financial guidance, not formal accounting, audit, attestation, or legal engagement, and do not create a formal client relationship for those services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to book a session. You agree to provide accurate, current information about yourself when booking, and to use the service only for lawful purposes.
Booking, rescheduling, and cancellation
Sessions are scheduled through our booking page. If you need to reschedule, contact us as early as you can — we will do our best to accommodate you at no charge. Repeated no-shows may be treated as a used session. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time before your next billing date; sessions already used are non-refundable.
Payments & billing
One-time sessions are charged at booking. Subscriptions bill monthly until cancelled, using the payment method you provide through Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change prospectively; we will give notice before any change affects your subscription.
Money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a session, tell us within 14 days and we will refund that session's payment — no questions asked. This guarantee applies to individual sessions and does not cover sessions already consumed under a subscription beyond the most recent one.
Professional scope and limitations
Guidance provided in a session is general advice based on the information you share. It does not constitute a formal opinion under Circular 230, an audit, a review, or attestation under AICPA standards, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for full-service representation. Always consult your own accountant or attorney before acting on material decisions. Tax law changes frequently, and guidance is based on the rules in effect at the time of the session.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information and documents you share with us. Our guidance depends on it. You are also responsible for making your own final decisions; Rocket CPA is not liable for outcomes resulting from decisions you make based on general guidance.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, graphics, the Rocket CPA name and marks, and page design — belongs to 10X CPA Inc or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written permission. You may print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rocket CPA and 10X CPA Inc are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before it arose.
Privacy, California, and GDPR
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using the service you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in the United States as described in that policy. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer or data protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The 'last updated' date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
